WordCamp development day a go in LA!

I know I’ve made some previous announcement about a possible dev day. Well after your votes, over 100 people said they were interested.

So today we locked down a small room at the Custom Hotel. The room has a max capacity of 75, so this event will be only for the die hard coders and developers who want to dive deeper into WordPress.

Will have a sign up list located somewhere near the registration area.

Where: Custom Hotel – “Prairie” meeting room 2nd floor

8639 Lincoln Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90045

When: WordCampLA Development Day
Sunday September 13th, 2009
10am – 4pm

This will be a BarCamp style event, with no planned speakers or schedule. Just bring your computer and you questions, thoughts and ideas.

For more info, just ask us tomorrow at WordCamp!

About Austin

Hi, I'm Austin, but you can call me Frosty. I'm an LA native living in Santa Monica. I'm currently "Principle Engineer; Content" for Crain Communications and when I'm not working on WordPress during the day I create premium plugins; which I sell. My most popular products are extensions for Custom Login (a plugin with over 1 Million downloads) and other plugins. I've been working on WordPress since ~2006 and from 2009-2012 I was the organizer of WordCamp LA. I'm a huge Dodgers fan, softball player and golfer. I gave a presentation in that room a short while back – be sure to bring lots of power strips – there aren’t a lot of outlets in there.
