It’s here, this weekends LAWPUG, which was delayed one week because of Easter, will be held this Sunday the 19th.

6333 W 3rd StIn case you don’t know or are unaware, besides the WordCamp event which will be held once yearly. There is a meet up that is held once monthly for WordPress users at various location in the greater Los Angeles area. For information regarding these meets you can log on to LAWPUG, as well as do a search for WordPress on Yahoo’s Upcoming.
Held on the second Sunday of every month*, the LAWPUG has announced that this month venue has moved to a more central location in LA, helping those on the West Side out. Plus the new location should take advantage of the lovely weather we’ve been having in LA.
The L.A.W.P.U.G. meet up has been changed to April 19th.

Well after careful consideration, I thought (as well as some others) that “losangeleswordcamp.com” was just a little long for a domain name. Then I thought to myself
Los Angeles is the only city with its own official domain registar
So what you see hear is the new home of WordCamp Los Angeles’ web site. WordCamp.LA to be correct. While the .la domain is allocated to Laos, many have claimed it to be associated with the city of Los Angeles, :D.
Just want to write and say that official announcements will be posted on this site. This site is now the unofficial WordCamp LA site, showcasing any extra info, for example: twitter and flickr feeds.
Last Sunday, the 8th of February a group of people in the Los Angeles area who love WordPress met up at Philippe’s in Downtown LA. Mainly a monthly meet up to discuss, you guesses it, WordPress!
But one of the main topics of discussion was, WordCamp Los Angeles! So, if you want to know more, Please just keep your hat on. I promise we are already talking about when, where, who and how.
