Amber is a graphic designer, web developer, and photographer. Her company, Graphicgoo, caters to creative businesses that want a unique online presence. As a designer, website expert, and social media master, she helps companies to navigate and break through the clutter by telling their unique stories through the lens of their brand and brand goals.
Amber has spoken at 11 California WordCamps since 2017 and created the graphics and website for WCLAX 2017. Her hobbies are scuba diving, motorcycles, typography, and keeping her dog, Elmer, from eating stuff.

Christiana Mohr
Lead Wrangler, Wrangler of Wranglers
Christiana is a WordPress Community Leader and this year’s lead for WCLAX2020. She organized WordCamp Long Beach 2019, along with co-organizing The WordPress Los Angeles Meetup for the past 3 years. An adaptable, thorough and collaborative creator, Christiana helps businesses and non-profits build a better base for better growth and loyal communities when not in a WordPress leadership role.
A proven role model, Christiana organically recruits skilled colleagues to lead strong teams, in addition to planning, executing and managing complex projects. She also writes and edits engaging content, designs beautiful websites and cohesive marketing materials. Skilled in directing virtual events, she recently directed an extremely successful virtual fundraising gala.
When she’s not evolving into a developer, she loves swimming in the ocean, picnics on the ‘ninsula, attending outdoor church while wearing a mask, rearranging furniture and bantering about cheerful nonsense, beauty and death.

Christina, has been passionately teaching WordPress through her Website Creation Workshop™ to non-techie small business owners, authors, experts, coaches and consultants for the past 13 years. She has been running her online WordPress training program to an international audience since 2008. Christina is often seen at events as an expert speaker teaching on a variety of topics such as email marketing, membership sites, and marketing, all with a focus on WordPress.
Christina puts the fun into teaching technology and empowers business owners to be in full control of their marketing and online presence. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Christina worked as a digital artist for the network promotions division of NBC-TV, and then as a senior technical director in the Feature Film Division at George Lucas’s Industrial Light & Magic with film credits for Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and ET the re-release.” When not working, Christina loves to cook up feasts!!

James is a web developer, writer, and amateur motorcycle mechanic in Pasadena, CA. His work is focused on magazine publishing, including the Baffler magazine, the Law and Political Economy Project, and Los Angeleno. James believes the best internet is an open internet, where publishers control their own content and presentation. He advocates for self-managed, open source software like WordPress and helps his clients build and maintain accessible, performant, and handsome publishing platforms.

Joey is the creator of New Territory Media, a production and content creation company specializing in creating serialized YouTube videos for brands and interactive live shows. He is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker, with movies streaming on Netflix, The New York Times, and National Geographic. Joey runs the WCLAX2020 weekly Live Streaming Shows and will be hosting the Live Breaks during WordCamp.
In his free time Joey likes to climb mountains, scuba dive, and drink coffee.

Sally Thoun

Sally is new to WordPress as she is about to build her website Savvy Gurl Digital Marketing, with Alicia St. Rose of “WP with Heart” and loves being part of the warm and welcoming WP community. She launched the Promotion Department for Warner Bros. Television Canada and, after winning the Top National Marketing award, was promoted to Burbank, where she oversaw international publicity and eight field offices, followed by a long career in broadcast sales. Sally moved into digital marketing several years ago and is currently learning about Accessibility as it has been on her heart and will offer these services.
She wrote the sponsor blogs for the first “WordPress Accessibility Day” and is participating in Knowbility’s AIR RALLY2020. Part of her team responsibilities includes being the Team Lead, Content Provider, Project Manager, and QA tester.
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Sally loves to cook, veg, and spoil her dog, Cleo (& Patra RIP), when not being a digital sponge. She is a board member and handles the marketing and social media for her local CERT team (Community Emergency Response Team), who were deployed to the Ridgecrest earthquake last summer. Her weekly joy is leading her Awana Sparkys, age 5-7 years old, at her church. Entrepreneurship runs in her blood, as Sally’s grandfather opened up the first movie cinema in Montreal in 1905.

Sarah is a consultant and website creator for businesses and creatives at Mother Blackbird, whose personal mission is to identify what’s going on in your business and create tools to get you to where you want to go.
Sarah learned digital design and website creation in order to have more tools in her arsenal to help the bands, musicians, and other creatives in her day job. She enjoyed it so much with great results, that she left the music industry to work with businesses full time!
She has 15 years of experience leading projects in the entertainment and tech industries. Her teams have launched software products, websites and mobile apps in many verticals, from government to finance to beauty to music to professional wrestling to eSports to medical devices. Sarah leads the Orange County WordPress design meetup every month, and has served on the organizing boards of several WordCamp conferences in southern California.

Sumner Davenport

Sumner has been designing websites since 1997. Twelve years ago, she was introduced to WordPress and fell in love with it. Her passion is Web Accessibility, and she specializes in Web Accessibility on WordPress. She educates business owners and web designers on the increased value and how to design an Accessible website. Through her long-standing organization, she and her team have built, maintained, evaluated, and remediated dozens of WordPress websites to WCAG 2.1 success criterion. Her clients are most often referred by other clients and from attorneys. She is active in accessibility and legal conferences and educational venues.
She and two colleagues founded a local Meetup to discuss WordPress and accessibility and have invited renowned speakers on Accessibility topics to be the guest presenters. Partnering with two other local Meetup organizers, they organized the first annual Mega Meetup WordPress Accessibility Day in August 2020. She is a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) and an active supporter of various disability organizations. She is currently participating in Knowbility’s AIR RALLY2020.
After having so much fun as the Speaker Wrangler for WordCamp Santa Clarita 2020, Sumner volunteered to be on the Speaker Wrangler team for WordCamp LAX 2020. She is owned by a rescue dog named Tigger and his rescue cat, Merlin, and their newest rescue kitty, yet to be named!

Tiffany Wong

Tiffany is a Content Curator at Simmer.io, which shares WebGL content on the web. Her focus is on helping game developers share content created with the Unity game engine. Whether it is about playability or other game-related topics, she gives feedback to game developers on their content so they can improve on their creative work.
For as long as she can remember, Tiffany has always been in awe of the creative and entrepreneurial aspect that web development, game development, and content writing bring into people’s lives. All three of these disciplines are hard to master but are fun to get into. She decided to take her first step into the tech world with WordPress and was a WordCamp LAX Volunteer in 2018. It was a blast getting to meet the amazing WordPress community! She is super thrilled to be back again, this time as a WordCamp Organizer alongside a multi-talented squad of professionals.
When unplugged from the computer, she finds time to do power walks or saunters around the neighborhood. If not outside, she loves to read books and take notes.

Traci is a designer/developer with 14 years of professional experience. As a “systems builder,” she loves to understand the big picture and help connect the dots between strategy and execution. She began her career working for design heroes April Greiman and Andrea Lenardin Madden, after which she founded Visual Issues, a multi-disciplinary creative studio that specializes in visual identity design.
She volunteered with WordCamp LAX in 2015 and designed the logo, schedule, and swag in 2016. A few of Traci’s recent WordPress projects include sites for Wild Up (contemporary classical music ensemble), The Industry (experimental opera company), Verge Art – Sac Open Studios (Sacramento artist directory), Rewire (e-commerce for a high-end lighting gallery), Aquarium Drunkard (music criticism), Character Media (magazine focused on Asian Americans in entertainment), Character Images (stock photo site for Character Media), Pablove (children’s cancer charity), Love Local (directory of independent businesses), and Supe Troop (music supervision firm). She loves to collaborate directly with artists, such as on sites for composers Christopher Rountree and his Commitment Booth piece, Christopher Cerrone, Ellen Reid, and Jodie Landau.
Despite working primarily in the digital space, Traci makes a point to spend time away from the computer, enhancing her creative skills and image-making ideas by experimenting with many tactile art forms, including collage, printmaking, and textiles (sewing, embroidery, and knitting). She loves to geek out over printing and has a risograph printer that she uses to make posters, zines, and short runs of stationery.
