Andrew Behla will speak on “Turbo Charge WooCommerce Sales” Saturday afternoon at 11:00 a.m. in the Daytona Room at WordCamp Los Angeles. When considering Andrew’s first car, a ’63 VW Camper Van, one might wonder if he actually understands the meaning of “turbo charge.” However, Andrew has driven an Audi S4 and considers his dream car to be a Tesla Model S, so it seems that he’s absorbed the difference over the years.
He knows that WooCommerce can do more than most realize. “It’s like adding a whole new platform or range of applications to your site,” Andrew said. He continued by adding that Woo is transformative. When asked if adding WooCommerce to a website was similar to upgrading a car engine, Andrew stressed it was “Maybe like making a car be able to fly or go into the sea as an ocean going vessel? Or even a car that can go into outer space!”
He continued by saying, “I think it goes beyond the motor and launches a whole new set of possibilities that can take you to places a normal car can’t… thinking of the normal car as WordPress for publishing. It’s a Terrafugia!”
Andrew’s hope for his session is that it will help WooCommece store owners and be useful for agencies with WooCommerce clients. “The success of our clients and improving their sales is a constant goal for the work we do. We always want to add value and a return on investment, as this creates a win-win situation for all involved.”
