WordCamp LAX 2013 was such a success and so much fun, we thought we’d add an extra day this year. Three days of WordCamp!
Friday, September 5 – Foundation Friday
Location: Cal State University Los Angeles, 5151 State University Drive, Los Angeles, CA
Registration: 8am-9am at King Hall.
How does Friday work? Pick one workshop (Beginner, Design, or Business) and stick there all day. These are focused, intensive all-day workshops. All workshops are on Cal State LA’s campus. See Friday’s schedule in detail.
Beginner Workshop
9am-5:30pm in the Los Angeles Ballrooms on the third floor of the Student Union. Please go to King Hall to register and pick up your badge before heading over to the Student Union.
Business Workshop
9am-5:30pm in King Lecture Hall 1.
Design Workshop
9am-5:30pm in King Lecture Hall 2.
Saturday, September 6 – Saturday Sessions
Location: Golden Eagle Ballrooms at Cal State University Los Angeles, 5151 State University Drive, Los Angeles, CA
Registration: If you didn’t register on Friday, we’ll have registration open 8am-9am at the Golden Eagle Ballrooms.
How does Saturday work? We’ll have three talks going on in each time slot. Pick and choose the ones you’d most like to attend. There’s plenty of time between talks to travel to different rooms. See the Saturday schedule for the talks and times.
In addition to the sessions running all day, we’ll also have a Happiness Bar set up just outside the session rooms. Stop by to get help with your WordPress questions from the WP experts on staff from 9am-5:30pm.
Sunday, September 7 – Contribution Day
Location: Blankspaces DTLA, 529 S Broadway, 4th floor, Los Angeles, CA
Location Note: While Blankspaces DTLA’s address is on Broadway, there is no entrance on Broadway. Please enter from Lindley Place, the alley that runs behind the building from 5th to 6th street, parallel to Broadway.
How does Sunday work? Show up with a willing spirit and an open mind! Whether you’re a coder or not, we’ll help you find just the right way to contribute to WordPress and the WordPress community. We’ll spend the day together in an informal coworking setting, hacking and contributing together.
