So what’s the big news? Well, if you read the title then you now know we’ve set a date for this year’s WordCampLA. Although we are still five months away, summer tends to fly by so we’ve secured the venue. Leaving us plenty of time to secure awesome speakers and sponsors for another great event.<\/p>\n

So, can we plan anything?<\/h4>\n

Yes! I personally opened up speaker<\/a> and sponsor<\/a> submissions on the 2011<\/a> site.<\/p>\n

So, when is it?<\/h4>\n

WordCampLA will be held the same weekend as the last two camps were held. That’s the second weekend in September, the 10th<\/sup> to be exact (of twenty eleven) 1<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Where is it?<\/h4>\n

Just like 2009<\/a> and 2010<\/a>, WordCampLA has been graced with an awesome venue thanks to the Studio Arts – Media Emphasis<\/a> department of Loyola Marymount. We’ll be holding the event at Seaver Hall 100 & 200<\/em>, that means we will be hosting two tracks.<\/p>\n
